“Dude, what the heck is that?” Finn asked, staring at the…thing resting on Puck’s table.
“Our science fair project.”
“Science fair? Our?” Finn asked, his eyes widening as he realized just what his best friend meant. “You’re not dragging me into the science fair, dude, that place is full of dweebs!”
“Look, I need to boost my science grade or they won’t let me play football, and I know for a fact yours needs help, too. Now, are you in or not?” Finn muttered, mumbling curses at Rachel and her need to tell everyone his business (he only told her about his science grade because he thought she would help him study, not so she could tell everyone and their mom!) before sitting down next to Puck.
“I’m in.” He grumbled, and Puck grinned.
“Great.”
“You have to tell me what that is, though.” Finn said, looking back at the…well, goop was the only word to describe it.
“It’s a mixture of hair gel and Jell-O.”
“What’s the point?” Finn asked, staring at the blue thing. He was sure it was moving towards him.
“What do you mean, point?”
“There’s supposed to be a point to the science fair projects. Like, which hair dye works best, or what cheese smells the worst?”
“Fromunda cheese.” Puck replied, snickering. Finn rolled his eyes.
“Seriously, dude, if I’m going to work on this project with you, we’re gonna have to take it seriously.” Puck sighed, staring at the goo.
“Alright. The point is…to see if different types of gel can make a better gel combined or seperate.”
“I don’t think Jell-O is a gel.”
“If you don’t stop pointing out everything wrong with this project, it’s going to be a long two weeks, Hudson.”
“Sorry.”
